“Is Photoshop Destroying America’s Body Image?”
The magazine layout for the article “Is Photoshop Destroying America’s Body Image?” by Vivian Diller was created to convey an impactful message. The article’s imagery was influenced by the over modification of the human form in today’s media. Using the half tones and dashed lines, I wanted to create imagery that became oversimplified, flawless, and give the illusion of modification through the lines that plastic surgeons use. This project was a way to explore more editorial design and to focus on layout and typography.
